Dear Shania

Dear Shania,
You might have a really cool name, but all of your songs sound the same. Your new song about people coming to your party is boring, and you shake your head a lot in the video, and that's stupid. And who is that guy in the second version of the song? No one even know who he is.

Have fun at your party, by yourself.

Ch-Ch-Changes

Well there are a lot of new things happening.

1. I am home from school for good now! That's exciting. I don't go back until the end of January, so that is very exciting. However, what isn't exciting is that I am going to be working over break. While I haven't been hired yet, I anticipate an employer looking at my resume and saying, "that's super" just like the woman said that worked at American Eagle.

...moving on to more intelligent things...or not.

2. I hate to keep switching around like this, but I am thinking about moving my blogs over to MSN's new blog duplicate known as MSN Spaces. It has blogging capabilites, photo gallery capabilities. It would be one nice little tidy area, to keep all of my stuff that I want posted online. I don't know. I am satisfied with Blogger, but it seems like MSN Spaces may work better? Who knows.

Anyway, I always post so late...why is that? I am going to bed now. Goodnight!

I Don't Understand Spiral Notebooks

As I am sitting here ripping the papers of my Cosmic Concepts, and Philosophy classes from their respective spiral notebooks, I am wondering how the hell the manufacturers create these things. How do they get the paper to wrap around the spiral wire like that?

Moreover, why didn't they create something much more efficient when it came to cleanliness. Those damn pieces of papers that are like where the paper was torn from the spiral, always get all over the place. That gets on my damn nerves.

Nevertheless, spiral notebooks are very interesting.

While I am on the subject of things that don't make sense, what about rechargable batteries? I don't understand how some batteries you can recharge and others you can not. That doesn't make sense to me.

Some batteries that recharge would be the one in my phone, and the couple in my digital camera. Some batteries that don't recharge are the batteries I bought on 43rd street in New York City. In fact, they didn't f*ing work. And the man behind the counter can scream to me in Spanish all he wants. Sé lo que usted dijo...bitch.

Well I am done complaining about appliances that don't make sense. I am sure once I go to bed, I will be able to lay there and think of some more, so I will post more later!

LAST DAY HERE IN FROSTBURG!!!!!! WOO HOO! MAMA I'M COMIN' HOME!

(grand-MAMA that is)

Her Flowers and Finals

Well, today I take my last final of my first semester. I did as best I could. I don't know how to study and absorb information well, so I had some tough times. But, I managed through them and now it's time to relax.

To take my mind off finals, I decided to paint. I like painting but I never really did well with it. Well the other night I decided to try some things out and I painted something cool. It's called "Her Flowers." I like it a lot, and some other people do too. I don't know if I am going to keep it or if I am going to give it to someone. I like to give things to people but I am proud of it and I think I wanna keep it. Atleast for a while. Maybe it will sell for THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS of dollars. Or, for nothing at all.

Well, my final is at 2:30 tomorrow, so I have to go to bed so I can wake up at noon and study some more for it. It's just my English final, and I am confident I will do well on it.

Below is a pic of the painting I did! I am very proud of it. You can browse through other pics I have posted through Yahoo! I have 4 galleries of pics up right now (My Life, Fall 2004, My Best Friend, and New York Trip '04). Check them out here. :)

Here's What I Think About Winter

...I hate it.

Even though my birthday is in the winter (January 24th), as well as Johnukkah (the annual festivity that is much like Hannukah, where we celebrate my birthday a week before and a week after my birthday, and people give me presents each day of this celebration. It never usually works out that way, but some day we will all celebrate Johnnukah). I just hate the snow. I hate the cold. I hate the miserable looking people that hate it along with me.

But that's what seperates me from it all, is that even though I hate it, the only place I complain about it is here. Which is fine, because if you don't want to hear me complain you can just click that little X up in the right hand corner and that's that.

Winter sucks.

I am going to go watch Ocean's Eleven so that I can watch Ocean's Twelve with some sort of understanding when it comes out. Or did it come out? Why don't I know these things?

Nearing The End

Well this semester went by pretty fast.

It's already the second to last week here, and I can't believe it. I only have classes up to Friday and then I have 5 finals next week. But they are all done by Wednesday so that's good. I have one the 11th, 2 on the 13th, 1 on the 14th, and 1 on the 15th, and then I am out of here!

So many things are going to be different next semester. But all in all, I can say that my first semester here was a life-changing experience. I met some of the best people on Earth here and had some great times with them.

Next semester, Mandy and Katie are going to be RA's. That's pretty weird. As a result of this, Eileen is moving in to Alix's room with her. The Fab Four (Mandy, Alix, Krissy, and Eileen...plus Katie) will be reduced to The Triple Threat. I am moving out of here, and in to 219 with my friend Ben...for no apparent reason. He needed out of his room and I figured I would be his roommate because he's a cool guy. So we'll see how things are going next semester.

I applied to the new Applebees resturaunt that is opening in LaVale. My friend Zach applied and was called the next day and has an interview on Friday so he is on a roll with that. So, hopefully they will do the same with me and I will have some cash for when I come back in the spring. Not much cash, but cash nonetheless.

A couple of you have asked why nothing that exciting has happened in my life lately. My answer is I don't know. Before, I would only update when crazy things come to mind or when I had a funny story to tell. Now, I am updating as much as I can about what is happening in my life. I am doing this as much for you guys as for myself. I want to be able to go back and read about what was going on in my life at the time...because I know I will forget unless it is documented.

Another thing to think about is where I am going to be next year at this time. Temple? James Madison? Frostburg? There are so many options and I can't figure out what I want to major in. It's quite stressful. I try to stay as collected as I can, but time is running out.

New Years is going to be the best. While my New Years experience last year wasn't exactly what I was expecting (sat in my room by myself, and watched 10,000 episodes of Sex and the City), this year will be quite a contrast. Alix is inviting a bunch of us (Me, Mandy, Eileen, Katie, Kevin, and Krissy) to her house. Her mom is renting a stretch Hummer limo and we are going to Ocean City to eat at some nice ass resturaunt and then back to her house for some New Years PARTYING!! Even though I don't drink at all, I told the ladies (and Kevin) I would take a sip of champagne just because it would feel necessary. Maybe this New Years will top the fun I had in New Orleans two years ago?

Anyway, for those of you who are still at school with me right now...let's have fun. We only have a week left before we have to say goodbye for a while. :)

P.S. I have been uploading pictures from the fall in to my online photo album through Yahoo! However, since I am a nice guy, I have provided a link for you here. Have fun!

Dr. Colin

Colin Mortensen was on The Real World: Hawaii back in the day. He currently has a very entertaining website that I highly reccomend people go to. It has a lot of fun things on it including a section called, "dr. Colin" where people send him questions and he replies to them...quite intelligently I might add. The questions have to do with sex, health, and relationships. They are very interesting.

He also has a book out called A New Ladies' Man, which I plan on purchasing and reading. Check the site out.
