The Birth of My Career?

...I wish.

I have decided to announce right here on my very own blog that I am writing a book. That's right ladies and gentlemen. I am very excited about it. It's in the beginning stages as of right now, but my goal is to have it published and distributed by the end of this year. It will take a lot of time, work, effort, and money but I am determined to get it published.

As of right now, I can not say what the book is about except that it will probably be a fiction novel. I am writing a few different treatments and seeing which one kind of comes together the best.

This is what I have always wanted to do. I love writing, and my ultimate dream is to be a best-selling author. I doubt my book will be a best-seller but I need to start somewhere. Writing for anyone or anything and making a profit of it would be my dream come true. I love writing, and being able to do it and make money from it as a career would be incredible. I will keep everyone updated on the situation of my book as the year progresses...especially when it comes out.

I plan on having t-shirts made and other things like that to promote the distribution of it. So, look for those sometime soon too. I will make sure you all have links so you can buy them because they are going to be tha bomb.

Anyway, had to get that off my chest. Happy 2005, and buy my book when it comes out.

Today I am sitting in my office where I work as a solicitor (lawyer), and typed in "where is my life going". I came here. Weird. I loved university. I came back this weekend from a friennd's wedding, a friend from university, where we were a great group. Now at other ends of the country, we seem to meet up for weddings, and christenings. It'll be funerals next. Scarey. I like that all of us share similar fears, no matter where in the world we are, and whilst there's always a bigger picture and a bigger problem, wondering where we go next is enough. (Now that's selfish). If we don't like what we're doing or where we're going, the best we can do is to work to change it.
